A Review of the SavvyTech Training Lab

How I heard about SavvyTech

I am a member of the Virtual Assistant Savvies Facebook Group (which by the way, is an awesome place for sharing info and ideas, finding answers to common questions and connecting with others if you are a VA.) It was through this group that I first became aware of this training resource. Before long, in order to best serve one of my clients, it became necessary for me to gain more knowledge and take a course in Pinterest Management. After carrying out an extensive search for a reasonably priced course, I kept circling back to the SavvyTech Training Lab.

Since discovering just how many trainings are included with a subscription to the SavvyTech Training Lab, I decided this was by far the best value for money in comparison to other courses. I signed up for the monthly subscription at $47 per month. Note that there are also other payment options available, which will be discussed later.

Even if you are only interested in one particular course, one of the main advantages is that you gain access to all trainings immediately. Each one is a self-paced course that you can complete in your own time. There’s no minimum commitment and you have the ability to cancel your subscription at any time.

What is included inside the SavvyTech Training Lab

Once inside the Savvy Tech Training Lab you will find SO many useful trainings (a total of 36 at the time of writing) that could be applicable to a Virtual Assistant or Creative business owner. These cover many tech aspects of your business, such as website design, social media, email marketing and more. Each course is clearly laid out and explained with step by step instructions. Many of them are video based and include different templates, checklists, ebooks and PDF’s available for download.  Within the lab, in addition to the course I was particularly interested in – Pinterest Management, I discovered courses on general Pinterest training, Tailwind, Canva and SEO which are all related to my areas of interest. All at no extra cost! So if you are looking for one particular training you may find 2 or 3 others that complement your desired area of learning. There are also many other general courses that could be useful for any business owner such as ‘Productivity ninja’, ‘Productivity Mama’ and CRM system trainings.

The course’s included in the lab cover topics such as social media management, website design, course creation, email marketing, or setting up digital stores.

I have outlined a selection of the courses offered below according to category (as of October 2018):

Website – WordPress and WordPress 101. Squarespace, branding and design, SEO training,

Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, facebook managament, facebook strategies, youtube.

Online Course creation – course creation masterclass, thinkific, teachable, webinar training,

Email Marketing / On-line Marketing – click funnels, Mailchimp, leadpages, convertkit, infusionsoft

In addition, as a member, you also gain access to the facebook group – The SavvyTech Membership Community, a great place to ask questions and connect with other business owners. Support is available should you need it by contacting them through the training portal.  With a new training added to the SavvyTech Lab each month, the Savvy Tech community also has the opportunity to vote on which new courses they would want to see included. Talk about bang for your buck!

The costs involved

This course is very budget friendly considering the value you receive.

Here is a breakdown of the 3 pricing options for the SavvyTech Lab membership:

$47 per month for a monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time.

$1497 one time payment which gets you lifetime access.

$497 per month, for yearly access.

You can save a substantial amount of money if you see this as a long-term investment in yourself and your business by signing up for yearly or lifetime access.

Otherwise, it’s totally flexible and if you subscribe monthly, you are able to cancel at any time.

They do offer a 7 day money back guarantee if for whatever reason you are not happy.

With each pricing structure you receive the following benefits:

– Unlimited access to all courses.

– Instant access to all courses

– New content is regularly updated with the opportunity of requesting which training is added next!

In conclusion

I believe this is by far the best comprehensive training resource around and I would wholeheartedly recommend the SavvyTech Training Lab to any creative business owner or Virtual Assistant looking to learn new tech skills.

It is a fabulous, affordable bundle of tech trainings that are commonly required when operating your business.

Instead of attempting to piece together blog posts, webinars or you-tube videos when learning a new program, or paying for an overpriced course, you gain access to one quality, simple and easy to use training platform. Plus the bonus of learning other valuable skills whilst you’re at it!

In addition, having access to a community where you can openly ask questions, share ideas, connect with other business owners and find accountability, cannot be underestimated.

As they say – knowledge is power! I have found it such a valuable source to uplevel your skills and keep up with technology to grow your business.
